Living History: Marye Bucke
Travel back in time to the year 1621 and visit with Marye Bucke, the Minister's Wife at Jamestown. Meet a "real person of the past" and hear stories about life in the early years of Virginia.
Rebecca has brought Marye Bucke to hundreds of groups and classrooms across the country, delighting audiences of all ages in person and online.
This award-winning program is presented in historically-accurate handmade clothing and Early Modern English dialect.
Williamsburg Old Time Radio Hour
Experience the golden age of radio with unique stories about Williamsburg in the 1930s during the early days of the Restoration.
Rebecca and her husband Mike co-write and co-produce the "Williamsburg Old Time Radio Hour" combining her love of local history and his love of making sound effects.
Many of the stories are based on the real life childhood memories of Julia Oxreider and her unique indexed collection of articles from the Virginia Gazette newspaper from the years 1893-1925.

The Virginia Gazette Index 1893-1925
This unique resource is the result of ten years of transcription in a self-initiated effort by Julia Oxrieder. The collection contains more than one thousand pages of retyped articles from The Virginia Gazette newsaper.
Rebecca Suerdieck knew the value of this one-of-a-kind compilation, and was gifted the entire set of records. Little by little, she created a keyword searchable website to that it could be shared online for free.
